Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology is concerned with the development, diagnosis, epidemiology, etiology, prevention, and treatment of psychological problems and disorders specific to childhood and adolescence. Thus, it covers the entire life span from birth to emerging adulthood and is based on a holistic understanding with special emphasis on a systemic and developmental perspective.
